Disability Tax Credit for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Did you know that Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis (MS) in the world? It’s estimated that as many as 75,000 Canadians have MS, that’s one in every 450 Canadians.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) causes a variety of symptoms, such as severe fatigue, loss of balance, impaired speech, impaired vision and paralysis. These symptoms often impact an individual’s ability to perform the activities of daily living, such as walking, getting dressed, preparing food and more.

Having multiple sclerosis (MS) also results in incidental but necessary expenses, some of which aren’t covered, such as some medications, adaptive devices, and more. The Canadian government acknowledges extra expenses are incurred by individuals who have MS and as a result provides financial assistance in the form of the Disability Tax Credit.

Getting approved for the Disability Tax Credit could entitle you to a significant disability refund. Most of our clients receive anywhere from $1,600 to $30,000.

Disability Tax Service will assess your eligibility for the Disability Tax Credit and other benefits free of charge and inform you of the amount of your disability refund.

We’ve successfully helped many Canadians with multiple sclerosis (MS) get approved since 2009.
